I AM PLEASED TO ANNOUNCE THAT KEITH SMITH- DUTTON HAS BEEN GIVEN THE POSITION OF
HONARY PRESIDENT OF THE SCOTTISH GROUP.
This is in recognition of the work Keith has done for the group over the years, having been a member 40 years in 2027.

Please note rally costs are not listed as yet in rally list for 2027 for the following reasons.
The new committee will be deciding on the price per unit per night ASAP, thereafter they will be listed.
However two decisions have already been made. The £1 rally fee next year will be abolished and included in the rally price instead. Secondly we have agreed the minimum price per night will now be £15 to cover increase in costs to run the group.
The proposal below was made by Richard Thompson-Pettit at the members meeting after the AGM. The proposal was accepted by a majority vote. This agreement will start in 2027. Hosts will still have to pay their rally dues then be reimbursed. Reasons for this being its a new system and rally takings may have a deficit as the site needs paying first.
